On October 7th, 2023 our hearts were shattered as we woke to news from Israel. I waited by my phone for messages and the words, "we are safe" from friends, ministry partners and business associates. Like you, some things can not be unheard or unseen. So much hate and heartbreak was seen and heard from around the world. I sensed God speaking the words to me to pray for The Biblical Heartland of the world. Biblical Heartland-those words just kept coming to me. I had never heard Israel called the Biblical Heartland of the world before, but it is. My husband grew up in the midwest, in Iowa. The midwest is known as the heartland of America. Maybe that is why the "heartland" would not leave my heart. Israel is the heartland-the Biblical Heartland of the world. I love going back to my husbands home town. It feels warm, welcoming and home. To me, Israel feels like home too. I think anyone who has ever visited Israel would say the same, it's that "coming home" feeling every time I return.
For years I have purchased items from various artists in Israel, to sell in our local and online store. I think we realized how truly helpful our purchases were during Covid. We could not have blessed them, without you blessing us with the purchase of those products. I had placed several orders during my September trip to Israel and we have received 4 of our 6 boxes. Those four boxes made it out before October 7th. You have been helping Israel artists for years now, by purchasing their unique gifts from us. THANK YOU for supporting us, so we can support them.
But how can I help with this current situation? I designed the Biblical Heartland t-shirt. So here is how we can "all" help. With every shirt sale we are using a portion of the proceeds to help relocate/evacuate any of our friends/partners in Israel. These families will have needs we don't even know about. We want to stand with them and be able to help with needs. I take to heart Genesis 12:3 and I want to bless them! So, thank you once again for supporting us so that we in turn can support Israel!
