Olive Wood Mezuzah

This Mezuzah Olive Wood is from Israel. The olive wood is from Bethlehem. 

Today the meaning of mezuzah has been transferred from the doorpost to the box attached to the doorpost. Sometimes the word mezuzah refers even more specifically to the scroll of parchment inside the box, on the which Scripture passages are written. This passage you would cut and roll up to place inside: 

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.  These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on your children.
