Begin the packing process with love, tenderness, patience and prayer. As they grow, pack ways to share and care for others, standards by which God's children are to live. Pack the difference between right and wrong, daily bible reading and how to become a Christian.
As they enter their teen years, rough roads may lie ahead. Be sure their commitment to Christ is firm. Do not overlook the importance of time together as well as unconditional love and self-esteem when you pack.
Remember, that in turn their suitcase is being packed by the way they see you live your life. Therefore, what you consider significant in life will be important to your children, and what you disregard will be treated with even less importance by them.
