OUR MISSION

"To give Christians’ a tangible item for a personal reminder, or an opportunity to share their faith with a friend, co-worker, or anyone that might notice what they are wearing and ask, “what does it mean?”  To curate passages from the Bible that can be translated into beautiful works of art in the form of sterling silver jewelry."

Get To Know Us

Sterling Grace started in the heart of designer Deborah Harter in 1998. God placed a desire in her heart to create sterling silver tangible reminders with a Biblical message.  Each piece has been designed to encourage, remind, or lift you up-regardless of the season you are walking through.  In 2000 she began the retail journey and 25 years later she and the SGJ staff love helping you find the perfect design and meaning to meet your needs.  Through the years they have been awarded, the “Locals Love Us,” Well Done Awards and others. Today we are in the Plaza Shopping Center in Tyler and can’t wait to serve you in person or online.

OUR ARTIST

DEBORAH HARTER

“I pray that my line of jewelry will give you lots of chances to talk about God." "Refine us as silver is refined."  Psalm 66:10

Deborah Harter, designer, and artist began creating unique, fun, and whimsical pieces of sterling silver jewelry inspired by the Bible in 1998. Her passion and love for Jesus came with a commitment that no piece of jewelry would ever be designed and leave her store without the Word of God attached.

With a deep love for Israel and a heart devoted to sharing its beauty and biblical significance, she founded In His Steps—a ministry that leads groups on life-changing journeys through the Holy Land. Having traveled there twenty-four times, she continues to walk where Jesus walked, guiding others to experience Scripture come alive before their eyes. Each trip renews her passion for the land and its people, and she eagerly looks forward to the day she can return again. Her dream is to one day own a home on the serene shores of the Sea of Galilee—a place where faith, peace, and the presence of God seem to rest gently upon the water.

Fun fact: she loves Jesus—and her bright red Jeep Firecracker! Her modern-day “Jesus track” is something she calls Ducking Jeeps with a Little Jesus—a joyful twist on the popular Jeep ducking trend. Instead of just leaving a duck, she leaves a reminder that says, “Don’t duck out of this life without Jesus—He loves you like crazy!” It’s her way of spreading faith, fun, and a whole lot of love wherever the road (or trail) takes her.

ABOUT OUR JEWELRY

Sterling Grace designs are unique works of art, unparalleled in creative styles to exult The Great Designer. Created with superior workmanship and a timeless truth. Designed to share and tell.

All of our jewelry is constructed of sterling silver. Sterling silver was chosen because it resembles the Christian life. Before accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior we are lost, dark, and without form. Before sterling silver is a piece of jewelry, it is black and formless. The silver must yield to the master's touch and a series of processes such as: heat, molding, tumbling, and polishing to become a shiny piece of jewelry. However, the effects of time and environment cause sterling silver tarnish.

Again yielding to the master’s touch, it is polished and returned to its shiny state. After we allow Jesus to come into our lives, we will experience many events that change, mold, and conform our lives to the Master’s plan. While we are still saved, as jewelry is still jewelry, we are will sinners capable of sinning. We must repent and yield to the Master daily and be cleansed from our sin. Once cleansed and restored we may continue in our work and fellowship with the Master.

"For Thou hast, tried us, O God; Thou has refined us as silver is refined." Psalms 66:10 NAS

HOW WE LIVE & GIVE

We live and share the needs of a community. We support our local churches and giveback to various needs and organizations. Our Global community reaches to a partnership that help to bring water down a mountain in Honduras, to a tiny little school and the children that attend. We also partnered to provide a working well in Sangida, Africa to a people group that with out it, would have perished. Community is where God is at and there is no where He is not.
