The Star of David is a symbol of God's promise, authority and guidance. It is believed that David's armor was either shaped as a six-pointed star, or it had a six-pointed star emblem on it. It is also said that the six-points are representative of the six days of creation, which gives the star it's other name, The Creator's Star.
