Description
This design is a symbol of the heart and home of foster parents. Open to receive and release, through Christ's love covering the heart. Joseph's flee to Egypt can resemble a foster care home. A cry in the middle of the night, a child is in danger and protection is needed. Foster parents step in and provide love, warmth and a parental covering until the danger has passed.
"And whoever receives and accepts and welcomes one little child like this for My sake and in My name receives and accepts and welcomes Me." Matthew 18:5
"An angel came to Joseph during the night and told him to get up, take Mary and her child, under the cover of darkness and flee to Egypt. Stay until further notice as the child is in danger." Matthew 2:13-15
"Lord, You have heard the desire of the humble; You will prepare their heart; You will cause Your ear to hear, to do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed." Ps 10:17-18
