Description
God's spoken Word is powerful. God spoke all creation into existence. By studying God's Word, it sharpens our discernment against false teaching and spiritual warfare. It enables us to face daily temptations with power and strength. The Sword of The Spirit directs, protects, and inspects the depths of the heart, for it is sharper than any two-edged sword. The Sword of the Spirit, is "The Word of God." The Word of God is our defense against temptations, situations, and Satan. Jesus used the Sword of the Spirit to resist Satan during the wilderness temptation.
