Description

Each necklace is hand strung deep in the heart of Texas. Strung with bold and colorful turquoise, labradorite, aquamarine, amethyst, red coral, moonstone, peridot, and lapis stones. Designed by Texas designer Deborah Harter. Paul is not talking about bad choices we make as the hardships; he is referring to circumstances out of our control. He is explaining that while Satan will try and harm us, God’s grace is sufficient and His power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, we should never boast or be arrogant, but see circumstances and difficulties as an opportunity to rest in God’s power. While knowing our weakness will result in an unbreakable faith. God does not delight in our struggles, Satan does and this is all the more reason to stand firm, endure and be unbreakable.

Because of these surpassingly great revelations. Therefore, in order to keep me from becoming conceited, I was given a thorn in my flesh, a messenger of Satan, to torment me. Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me.  But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. -2 Cor 12:7-10

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” -Luke 22:31-32
