Starfish Story As a man walked along the beach one day, he saw a young boy picking up something and very gently throwing it into the ocean. He asked, "What are you doing?"The little boy replied, " Throwing starfish in the ocean.""Why?""The sun is up, and the tide is going out. If I don't throw them in, they'll die.""There are miles and miles of beach, and starfish all along it. You can't possibly make a difference! "The little boy picked up another starfish and threw it into the sea, and said, "It made a difference to that one!"
