Faith is the assurance, belief, and confidence in someone or something. By faith one accepts Jesus Christ as the son of the living God, but not without evidence. The Word of God is the true evidence and testimony of who Jesus Christ is. With such evidence Jesus Himself said:

…“Unless you believe that I am He, you shall die in your sins.” John 8:24

“And on the basis of faith in His name, it is the name of Jesus which has strengthened this man whom you see and know; and the faith which comes through Him has given this perfect health in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:16
