Weeds clutched in your little boy’s hand were like roses in your eyes. A finger-painted masterpiece was just that to you, a priceless work of art. You hung it proudly for all to see. Growing up with a mom like you gave me assurance. It did not matter if times were good or bad; you were there. I knew I could always talk to you. You always had the right thing to say. Whether it was a bad day at school or advice about a girlfriend, your words always helped. You always brought the sunshine back on my face. You always assured me God had a plan and a purpose for everything. I knew I could always count on you to pray, even if I didn’t ask. So thanks for being you and being there for me. I love you, Mom!
