With eyes of wonder this little one looks to you for all their needs. Whether it is calming their fears from the things that go bump in the night or kissing away a “boo-boo,” you are who they look to and need. Where you are, they want to be. These are the days you will remember forever and they will pass far too quickly. From their first day of school, you will be there every step of the way.

Guide them with patience and unconditional love, for they are your future. Today the future is in your care. Look at them with eyes of wonder as they look at you. Wonder who they will be and how you can direct them to be all that God has created them to be. Keep close to your heart God’s word

Train up a child in the way he is to go (in the direction he is bent towards) and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6
